From a useful answer to an appropriate action
VidSatAI helps businesses scope AI agents and workflow automation around defined tasks. A system that can read information and take actions needs clear boundaries: what it can access, which tools it can use and what requires human approval.
Built: private audit automation for CPA firms
We built a private audit-automation platform for Canadian CPA firms. It sizes risk-based CAS 530 samples, matches items to invoices, bank, payroll and legal records, verifies GST/HST numbers, and exports reviewer-ready workpapers. It is estimated to cut sample vouching on a mid-market audit from roughly 22 hours to 4, about 80% less.
Industry use cases
We apply the same approach to dental and medical clinics, law firms, real estate brokerages and construction trades. See the use cases by industry. Each workflow’s data access and approval boundaries are scoped before any build.
Define a workflow before automating it
- Trigger: what starts the process?
- Information: which approved sources can it use?
- Permissions: which actions are allowed?
- Review: where does a person check or approve?
- Record: how is the outcome recorded and an error handled?
Proposed engagement deliverables
A workflow map, data-flow map, architecture options, evaluation criteria and a scoped delivery proposal. Implementation follows the agreed scope and responsibilities.
What success should mean
Define a baseline and a useful outcome before implementation. Depending on the task, evaluation may consider output quality, error rate, approval effort, access boundaries and time spent. These are proposed measures, not claims about our current projects.
Keep judgement and control visible
Use bounded tool permissions, representative test cases, human escalation and documented ownership. A successful prototype still needs ongoing maintenance and evaluation.
